What We Do

Sensorsoft designs and manufactures products for monitoring critical systems used in the commercial business (B2B) market place. Our software and sensors permit customers to be alerted before problems arise thus saving them time, money and frustration. Sensorsoft's selection of sensors and accessories can be used to measure or detect temperature, humidity, flooding, power availability, dry-contact closures and much more. Most of our products are manufactured here in Ontario, some with robotic assembly, using raw materials we source from the USA and Japan. These sensors can be connected to a wide variety of machines using RS232, USB, ethernet, WiFi and 3G/4G cellular. Our monitoring solutions are used world-wide in applications that include:

Who We Are

Our genesis was in the 1995-1998 time frame in a renovated basement. At that time we developed and marketed our first intelligent RS232 thermometer that featured an auto-discovery sensor protocol (SSDP - Sensorsoft Device Protocol) that worked with software that we compiled for PC's and UNIX workstations. We also innovated the first IP and SNMP connected sensors using Lantronix and Cisco console servers. This work was done by co-op students and self-taught engineers working under the guidance of professional engineers. Since those days we have learned much from our early adopter customer's suggestions and experiments. Sensorsoft's line of mission critical sensors and software have received much attention from our competitors who have tried to duplicate our innovations. Our zeal has always been to design products with a solid foundation that promotes reliability, ease of use and reduced obsolences. We support products for up to 10 years, in some cases longer when possible.
